Microsoft Launches Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 in India

American multinational technology company Microsoft Corporation has expanded its Surface series of notebook portfolio with the launch of three new exciting notebooks in the Indian PC and Tablet market. This new range of notebooks includes a Surface Pro X, Microsoft’s latest 2-in-1 laptop; a Surface Pro 7, Microsoft’s lightweight notebook; and a Surface Laptop 3, custom AMD processor-powered device.

If you don’t remember, Microsoft introduced its latest Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 at an event back in October last year, and the devices went on sale in the following month in the US and some other international markets.

However, the new product line-up now comes with plenty of new features in terms of style, design, performance as well as productivity. The company claims that the new Surface devices have been built with mobile productivity at its core with the latest Surface line-up featuring products that are more versatile, adaptable and personal.

“The ways in which we connect, work and learn are changing rapidly; and our devices are helping us stay connected and be productive as we work and learn remotely. The new Surface line-up is created for the modern worker. Each of the devices offers unparalleled versatility, greater performance and multi-tasking capabilities that empower you to work from anywhere, anytime,” said Rajiv Sodhi, COO, Microsoft India.

Microsoft Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 – Availability & Pricing

All the Surface devices are currently now available for purchase in India via commercial authorised resellers, Microsoft’s retail and online partners including Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Amazon and Flipkart at a starting tag price of Rs. 98,999, Rs. 72,999, and Rs. 98,999 respectively. But keep in mind that the product sale and availability might be delayed because of the ongoing lockdown situation in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as restrictions on the e-commerce websites.

As for variants and colors, the Surface Pro X will be made available for purchase in India only in a single variant, based on its RAM and storage configuration and it will be available in Matte Black colour option only. Moving to the Surface Pro 7, it will be available in four variants – i3/4GB/128GB, i5/8GB/128GB, i5/8GB/256GB, and i7/16GB/256GB – in Platinum and Matte Black colour options. Talking about the Surface Laptop 3, the new laptop comes in two variants based on its screen dimension – 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 3 and 15-inch Surface Laptop 3. The smaller variant will be available in Platinum and Matte Black (metal version only) body shades, while the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 will be available in Matte Black colour only.
